  • what happens when Sarlon is in a bad mood...

So, I got in a bad mood after leaving my parents house this afternoon (still can't figure out why), so I called my roommate and basically kicked him out of the house for the past 7 hours....

    Here is what I accomplished...
    • scrubbed the entire bathroom
    • cleaned the litter box
    • did 3 loads of laundry
    • changed the sheets on both beds
    • did 3 loads of dishes (landlord FINALLY replaced dishwasher)
    • removed EVERYTHING from the kitchen counters and gave them a good scrub
    • swept and mopped the entire house
    • reorganized my d&d book collection
    • reorganized my notes for my game session tomorrow
    • reorganzied my closet
    • cleaned off my computer desk
    • picked up all my spare magic cards that were all over the place
    • washed the windows
    • gathered out all the books in my room that I'm not reading
    • reorganized both my bookshelves (work and reading)
    • dusted my table tops
    • vaccumed the only rug in my apartment (rest is hardwood or tile)
    • took out 6 bags of trash from all the cleaning and reorganzing
    • changed the filter in my ac
    • got most of dinner preped for tomorrow
    • resharpened my knives that I've been using alot recently

Needless to say I'm dead tired...but the house looks MUCH better for it.
It is by snark alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of the coffee bean that thoughts acquire 'tude, the lips acquire mouthiness, the glares become a warning.

Care to come over to my place and vent your bad mood some more?

    The place is a shambles.

      where you live?

      not tonight though....I'm dead tired.

I'm thinking of making this into my job...clean people's houses.

Geebus, that's a lot of stuff. When I get on my bad-mood cleaning frenzies, I'm lucky if I get half that much done. Usually because it only lasts a couple hours at most.

I used to clean houses as a part time job and it is really fairly easy money if you enjoy cleaning. One house was an elderly woman who lived alone. She changed the bed herself, so I didn't have to worry about that. It was mainly just cleaning 2 1/2 bathrooms, polish and dust all of the furniture and vacuum the floors. She normally cleaned her kitchen while I did all the other work. Sometimes, I had to fight her for the vacuum cleaner and remind her that she was PAYING me to use it.

It only took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and I earned $65 each time. I had a couple of others who would have me do their houses once every 2 weeks.

It was nice, as I enjoy cleaning. I really enjoy that feeling of accomplishment you get when you see everything is all nice and neat and clean. So that made if pretty easy money for me.

I say that as I went outside today and almost blew away. The wind is fierce...but at least I didn't need my coat
