I'm not usually this silly, but damn if this DVD player doesn't deserve it.
The good folks at CyberHome sure knew what they were doing when they built it. Sadly, BestBuy no longer sells this variety, but if they did, I'd be sure to buy another one.
For a mere $40, this electronic wonder ran for a minimum of 8 hours a day, nearly every day for the past 5 years.
It has survived having two DVD's mistakenly placed in its holder (yes, I needed a vacation and promptly applied for one after that night), two major household moves and countless other minor abuses.
I salute you CyberHome, and morn the loss of my trusty workhorse- which lulled me to sleep with its countless replayings of M*A*S*H, animated movies and television series.

now- on to hook up my new Sony player. I only hope it lasts as long as my little CyberHome did. *sigh*
