Wish Corruption! (Game thread)

We did this on another forum I used to frequent. Here's how it works:

Poster 1 makes a wish:
"I wish for a million dollars"

Poster 2 grants that wish in such a way as it's negative:
"Your wish is granted: A million dollars in paper falls out of the sky onto your head. You die."

Then makes a new wish:
"I wish for a house..."

etc., etc.

So what do you think? Fun?
I'll start:

I wish I were a famous cook.

Yeah, I know this game.

Granted, but the restaurant you work at had a rat infestation and ruins your reputation.

I wish for a stable tech job.

Granted! Your boss is now sane but your workload quadruples when she realizes how inefficient she was.

We had this game going a while back. That thread's probably dead by now but it was fun.

Granted. Unfortunately, there is something fantastic on every channel, there are no reruns, and DVDs have been outlawed.

I wish I had a job I liked.
