Default Not Sucky but Annoying

So this morning I'm heading to work and a guy decides to pull out in front of me. I have to tap the breaks (fortunately, he pulled out far enough ahead of me). Then he procedes to go about 15 under the speed limit until he finally pulls over.

Bonus coverage:
I actually saw a BMW with a working turn signal today. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera to capture this momentous occasion.

It's extremely annoying.

I wish I could explain why people really do this....I can only chalk it up to the fact that some people just always HAVE to be in front of someone or first in line....or something.

Someone did something similar to me the other night. I was going ooh too slow for them, so they whizzed past me, only to have to stop at the next light....and once they were in front of me, they made no effort to go very fast at all......wtf.

And then as I get on the freeway, there's like a nice string of cars ahead of me and of course Mr. I Drive a SAAB or Volvo SUV has to get behind me and try to get in my back seat. So I tap my brakes and he gives me the "wha" gesture. So I finally get a window, I pass the string of cars only to look back and see him not doing anything. Sorry pal, you're not Moses...the Red Sea will not part for you.

Whenever I see a red light ahead, I take my foot off the gas and let the car coast. I'll lose some speed before I have to hit the breaks for the stop light.

Almost invariably one or two jokers insist on throttling up ahead of me... so they can stop at the light before me. Why do they bother?

But hey, if they want to waste a little extra gas and put a little extra wear on their cars, let them. I couldn't care less.

My hubby drives a BMW, but he never used his signals even before he bought it!

BMWs are the cars that I seem to notice this on more. I try to use my turn signal all the time, even though sometime it seems like it's a flag for the guy in the lane over to start speeding up just enough so he is in my blind spot and stay there.
