Kiri-cops, Kiri-cops what'ya gonna do when they come for you!

Late last night Kiri begged and begged to go out - so I got out of bed to take her for a quick walk (my wife gave them raw later in the day so it wasn't a complete surprise).

I get outside and notice a lot of police cars down the street. This isn't uncommon (but it doesn't happen all the time) so I think nothing of it. I'm she does her business and as I'm walking back some guy came running between the buildings.

Of course, there isn't much room netween the corners (think of a small bottleneck) and Kiri ERUPTS into a barrage of barking and growling (she's such a great guard dog) and the guy stopped dead in his tracks. He tried to turn around only to be met by a group of Broward county's finest (and was quickly apprehended).

Kiri did good.

Funny you should ask - they didn't react much to her (they were busy) but with Kiri's liter we did have an officer from Boynton Beach, FL interested in a puppy. Also, my wife is friends with the police chief in Cooperstown, NY yes, where the Baseball Hall of Fame is) and we were going to donate a puppy (if the temperament fit) to be a police dog for them.

Kiri didn't get pregnant this time around but we're medicating Gallon (hypothyroid) and we're going to breed her to a proven male next time.. (hint hint).
