Driving Miss TG
To the dude in the Robin's Egg Blue van,
FFS, WAIT until I completely back out and leave before you move in for your precious parking space! Seriously, a few seconds of waiting for it wouldn't kill ya!
While I was waiting at a red light in the intersection after finishing my shopping, I see this lovely little note scrawled on the concrete light post " If your turning, use your turn signals you shit heads!" . I guess I'm not the only one that gets peeved when people don't signal their turns and merges. Sadly, I don't have the pic since it was too far for my camera phone to get a good one...plus the ink looked a little faded (it was red).

Somebody used a stencil to spray-paint a small "Please" on the STOP sign half a block away. We live next to two elementary schools, which likely had something to do with it. Not everyone seems terribly keen on actually stopping at that intersection.

What is this turn signal thing that you guys are mentioning? Is that something new on a car? Does it improve gas mileage?
I kid....

It's the blinking light that you turn on to indicate (at least on big rigs) that you want everyone to pass you on that side.

Also may be hazardous to your health. It's rumored you'll spontaneously break out in hives or lameness (of the social variety) if you touch that switch.

It's the one item that usually doesn't work on BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, etc. Or, if it does, it seems to suffer from an annoying time-delay feature. That is, the car moves into the left lane, and *then* the light comes on Thanks for letting me know, asshole!

Actually, those cars tend to turn those on Just AFTER they start turning, but before they complete the turn.

And then there are the polar opposites, the people who somehow manage to have the signal on forever and never actually act on it, even when they have a clear opening.
