Default Non-student wanted to park in student parking

This customer arrived when there were only enough parking spots in the garage for people on the event list (around 12), & so the garage was reserved.

The customer, a female, was here to pay a fee for a seminar being held at the College of Business this Friday. I told her the garage was full, & so she asked where else she could park. I gave her several alternatives.

Then she said "I am not a student, but can I park in student parking?"

I told her that she has to have a student permit in order to do that & that either parking enforcement or campus police could issue her a citation if she does not have one.

Then she said "Even if I will only be parked for a couple of minutes *no guarantee as far as I am concerned*? I will pay the fine."

So I said "You will have to ask campus police about that. They are located on the right side of the street behind you."

She looked at me like I gave her poor customer service.

She left.
