I hate to 'jack threads so here's my pet announcement.
This is Elsie. She's 11 months old. We adopted her through PAWS. Mrs. TGK was talking about a kitten for some time--we finally got one.
As of this writing, Elsie and Cassandra (our older cat-named for a character in Cats. She kind of resembles Plaidman's present avatar), have reached some sort of understanding. They have decided on who's human is whose: Mrs. TGK is Cassandra's; I'm Elsie's.
She likes the scratching post (to her credit); and is especially fascinated by our bird feeder.
