75 cents = 3 quarters?
A woman and I assume her grandson was standing by the small toy/candy machines where you can get one of those toys in the plastic bubbles or candy for 25, 50, or 75 cents. The woman put two quarters in a machine that required 75 cents.
Woman: Excuse me, I put the money in but the machine's not letting me turn it.
Me: Did you put quarters in each slot?
Woman: Yes, but it's not working.
Me: *noticing she only put in 50 cents* This one is 75 cents. You need 2 quarters on the left and 1 on the right.
Woman: Oh oops, 75 cents is 3 quarters!
Me: *thinking Um, yeah... duh....*
