iTunes Password

Helping a customer with installing an app on their iphone the other day, and was asked a question that boggled the mind.

After clicking the Install link as normal the "Please enter you iTunes password" box appeared, which was followed by the customer asking me, "Whats my iTunes password". Sorry, what now?

"Is it the one with the letters and the numbers in it?"


I did help her reset it (FYI http://iforgot.apple.com), but I have a strong suspicion its going to be reset every time she downloads another app.

I'm as likely to know your iTunes password as I am to know you National Insurance number, your address, or your mothers maiden name.
