I Need to take More Vacations!!!

So I decide to take my first vacation this year.

Tuesday? Earthquake! I live 20 miles from the epicenter, and it was huge news. I actually went to work for a few hours since i was close to where it happened, then I went back to vacationing.

Today? Hurricane! First time in 22 years I have not worked a hurricane. Curled up at home with my wife, watching TV. Kinda miss it.

New experience for me.

Union rules and all that. Actually the fact I came in on the earthquake, using my own car, to chase down news (and do live reports via phone in the hinterlands) was so extraordinary it hasn't been done in years here. Good during negotiations to show what lovely robots we are.
