This should be one of the Dumbest Criminal stories: guy gets stuck in duct inside one of our stores and found by opening manager.

A fellow I worked with, formerly a fireman in the LA area, was luckily off duty the hot summer day his firehouse got an anonymous tip that someone might have been in a home's chimney for most of a week.

I think I remember this.....a year or two ago, if my memory serves me correctly... wasn't there a woman, I think she was a doctor or lawyer, tried to climb down the chimney into her boyfriends house and got stuck?

This occurence was twenty years ago or so. Attempted burglary, they figure, and his best friend buddy and pal waited until he couldn't sqeal before calling it in.
