Weirdo Lady

We had a really weeeeird lady at my job. I got to my job, my CW left without a word. I saw a fat, overweight, 300+lbs (important later) lady sitting in the front as if waiting for someone. So I let her wait. She kept whispering to herself and checking her phone, so figured the person was late.
People came and left, staring at her, she was wearing a miniskirt that nearly showed everything and more (maybe she was a hooker O.o). So I asked her, "Are you staying here, or are you waiting for someone?"

Weirdo Lady: No I ain't stayin' here and yes I'm waitin' for someone, the Police, in fact, and they not comin'.
Me: Uhhhhh......*brain reloads* ok. Do you want me to call the Police? Cuz you can't stay here all night. It's for guests only.
WL: *shrugs* Go 'head. I'm the Queen of Egypt!
Me: O_o *calls police*

So I call the police and she didn't seem very hostile, just moody. I didn't smell any alcohol and I tell the police that. Promptly, two skinny policemen come in. I point out the lady.

Police: *to WL* Hi, ma'am. Do you have anybody to come and pick you up?
WL: If I did, I wouldn't be sittin' here!
Police: Ah....ok. Well, you can't stay in a hotel all night, if you're not a guest, it's private property.
WL: *ignors that* I've been waitin' all night long for the Police to get here! They 'posed to HONOR me and give me a key!
Police: Ma'am, we ARE the police.
WL: Den call your superiors! I am the Queen of Egypt and I will have all your jobs!
Police: Ma'am, please don't make this difficult.
WL: Whatchu make difficult! *points to me* Ax her! ax her and the girl before here that I'm 'posed to be HONORED and get a key! Don't y'all watch the news?
Me: *trying not to laugh*
Police: Yes, we do ma'am. Now, are you on any medications?
WL: Hell no!
Police: Ok, can we see your ID?
WL: You suuuuuure can! *hands it over, I looked and it look just like a plain ID*
Police: Ok, thank you. Now are you saying that you are not going to leave? Because if you don't, you'll be charged with trespassing.
WL: I ain't leavin'!
Police: *to me* Do you wanna prosecute?
Me: Um, ok.

At this point one officer takes two handcuffs and links them together, and approaches the weird lady. She hides her hands behind her and shakes her head no. The officers are telling her to get up and she won't. She becomes very hostile, screaming obscenities and things that make me grateful that we don't have a first floor. At this point, I'm wondering how 2 skinny guys are going to hoist her up, because she isn't moving. I figured they'd have to call for back up.

Finally, after one last rant about how she's the Queen, she suddenly calms down and agrees to leave, saying she'll be back later. The officers and I are hiding our laughing. The officers tell me if she comes back to call. I agree. All hail the Queen.

Well, if you watch history channel about all the ancient Egyptian kings & queens, we all knew the inbreeding and so forth would have to have an effect somewhere down the line.......

They're not the only royals known for that...how about the Hapsburg dynasty...as in Charles V of Spain (aka Holy Emperor) etc.?

Personally, my vote for disfunctional families in power goes to the the Medici family - then again, can't forget the Borgias, either. Amazing how much of a difference money and power can make - without those, the stories of these families sound like some trailer-trash I know (or am related to

And my aplogies to anyone living in mobile homes, having lived in a rather nice one myself once, I really don't care for the term trailer trash, but haven't found one to quite convey the image as well yet

Trash is trash, regardless of income or location or style of abode. It's a behavioral thing, not a socio-economic thing. I've met a WHOOOOLE lot of upper-middle class folks who live in quasi-mansions that I'd term trash and a whole lot of lower-middle class folks who happened to live in mobile homes that were the kindest, most compassionate and 'classy' people I've ever met. I've said it before and will likely say it several hundred times more: I don't care where you're from, what or who you worship, how much or little money you have, or what ethnic background you have, the only thing that really matters is how you treat the people around you.


Which is why I'm also fond of saying that this site saves my sanity on a daily basis, because my place of employment draws entitled idiots like flies to excrement.
