Well, according to the article I'm reading, it's because The Sun made it into a story in the week before Cameron is due to give evidence at an ethics inquiry on the British Media- tied into the hacking of cell phones from News of the World. Both are/were Rupert Murdoch properties.

Probably to cause a stir.
But ... it was 15 minutes and quickly fixed. They didn't leave her for hours, didn't scream at the employees and threaten to sue them. You know - like our SCs would.
Lol. Didn't even think of that. As the segment went on his accent devolved into some sort of Fagin's Boys/Mary Poppins Chimney Sweep Kid monstrosity as he talked about picking pockets...Jon Stewart made a comment about him losing all his consonants.
