Pays to be nice
A couple of years ago i was out pushing up trollies because the guy who normally does couldn't be bothered. (we'd been having problems with him, very lazy)
I found a ladies hand bag sitting in one of the trollies she had forgotten to take it with her so i took it to centre management, left my name and number and forgot about it.
A few days later this little old lady knocks on my door.
lol: Little old lady
me: Me
lol " Hello dear are you Chained to the counter?"
me "Yes (very cautious thinking what is she selling)
lol "I want to thank you for finding my bag and to give you this, not many people are as honest as you". Hands me an envelope.
me "Thank you glad i could help"
She leaves and i open the enelope to find a lovely letter inside and a cheque for $100
I couldn't believe it and i was so stoked, what a wonderful lady.
It goes to show honesty is the best policy.
