I think I've posted about this customer before; I'm sure I have. He was doing so well for at least 2-3 months and he fell off the bandwagon.
He started drinking and doing drugs again, and it saddens me, because he was doing really well.
Tonight, he comes in, sunglasses on at night, has a very hard time speaking ("mumble mumble beer mumble mumble how much?"). Police lieutenant is standing right behind him watching.
"Sorry man, I'm not going to sell to you."
"I'm not drunk." *takes off glasses* "I haven't been in all day."
"I'm sorry."
"You're going to sell me that beer."
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"No I'm not."
*catbutt face and wander off, mumbling that I'm a mumble mumble*"
Lieutenant said I handled it well.
