    and this is why my digital copy of my medical records is in my own possession. Before I got out of the Navy, I scanned all of my medical files.

      That's why a doctor keeping records in electronic form needs to have the system holding the records protected by an "air gap". If net access is needed, have 2 systems and a KVM switch, but the system with the records is not CAPABLE of being accessed over the net, no matter how badly compromised the "net-connected" machine is.
      Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
