Photography store of awesomeness

I ordered my bf a christmas gift (he opened it already) from his favorite online photography store.

i qualified for "free shipping" - the caveat was that it was listed as USPS 8-day shipping.


how long did it take to show up? TWO DAYS!



my bf seriously wishes he'd gotten his last camera from them vs the online-giant-store. the camera was cheaper with the giant store but it was late by at least 3 months.

he's very sure that if he'd ordered from the favorite store instead, he'd have gotten it on time.

yeah, that can happen- though at a guess? if USPS is anything like Royal Mail over here in Britain, it's more likely they got quick for a change than the photography store sent it by a quicker delivery option. (It's happened to me in the past before. Certainly Royal Mail typically tends to deliver at the early end of delivery estimates)
