I was hoping they'd show her "rent receipt". At first, I was feeling bad for the defendants, getting scammed by "Amy". Then I was wondering if it was all a scam and "Amy" never existed.

Basically, daughter suing mother because mother set daughter's house on fire for the insurance (I think). Apparently, they'd been on a previous episode with mother as plaintiff. Mother is certifiably cray-cray.


There's also an episode of Judge Judy that aired 10+ years ago that I wish I could find. A SC sued a Cashier after he (allegedly) got shorted a few dollars. He sued for $5000 "on principle". I think the cashier might have countersued because he lied to the manager to try and get her fired. Judy not only threw out his case but charged him a penalty. Only time I've seen her do that.

Judge Joe Brown calls out a couple of guys for their dress in his courtroom. It's clear they don't give a crap, but I was busting up laughing. Idiots. I'm surprised he didn't toss the one guy out for saying 'who cares?'.

JJ vs ebay scammer. one of those scams where the seller sends a photo of the item and thinks it's clever and legal.

Except instead of putting down "you are bidding on a picture" she put down "you are bidding on what is in the picture" ... but the description also included all the phone's stats including weight. And since the photo doesn't weight 4.9 pounces JJ calls "shenanigans".


And to add icing to the scamcake, according to the plaintiff the attorney general has 3 other cases against the seller.

This guy call threatened his landlord with calling child services, and called when she said that she could not give him money that day. He won his deposit back but had to pay the landlord $2200 due to him calling CPS.

I'm looking for one case that's really good. A blonde dumbbunny is stopped by a cop (who had been to Judge Judy once before, in point of fact). The girl's father is a cop and she tries to use that to escape the ticket, and when the cop doesn't let her get away with it, she slanders his name with Internal Affairs. This ruins his career, so he sues the girl. Judge Judy tells the dumbbunny that she should move out of L. A. and live somewhere more realistic, and that she should start talking to a therapist. The best part: She makes the girl give a donation to a police fund.

Guys plan a party & hire a DJ for 8 hours of work ($2K). DJ shows up late (3-4 hours late), doesn't play music they like, and when "approached" about it proceeds to throw cat litter at everyone??!
