Welcom to Florida. It is literally hell if you are not used to or get sick easily from heat (like me).
My apartment complex (if we can call it that) had a landlord that was a nice guy, but was lazy and his inlaws (the ones that really owned the place) were greedy as hell.
The A/C in the 8 apartments are old. Like 10+ years old. We have been having major problems forever with it not working properly and our electric bill being 200+ dollars. The apartment isn't even that big. Of course the old landlords did not give a crap and didn't want to spend the money on really fixing the problem.
We get new landlords and they are replacing our unit this week. They are replacing everyone's but its a little at a time. We weren't even next, but my roommates called the new landlords and they called the A/C guy to bump us up.
My room will freeze up and I can get Satan to finally move out. He is a needy bastard.
