A funny thing happened on the way to the bank

or rather in the bank. I was just in to get $50 worth of quarters. First, there was a guy in there that looked kind of familiar and it turned out it's my buddy from the taco place that I go to when I work at the mall. That was unusual because I only ever see him at the taco place and the bank is clear across town. Next, the teller helping him asked me if I went to a certain high school here. I went to school in another state across the country but I look like one of his classmates from almost the same year. He said "Your name isn't [diminutive of my name--the nickname that I go by], is it?" I replied that yes in fact it was! That was a crazy coincidence. Then my teller came back with my quarters and asked if I really needed $50 worth, which made me laugh, because who really does that unless it's part of their job? I like to plan ahead as far as laundry. It was an unusual, entertaining trip to the bank so I thought I'd share. You know, people in my family have been known to make a trip to the DMV fun too. I guess we're an entertaining bunch.
