Game-time temp: -9ºF, wind chill (using new calculation): -37ºF. Wind chill at the time was calculated at -59ºF using the "old" formula.
Or this?
Game-time temp: -15ºF, wind chill (using new calculation): -36ºF. Wind chill at the time was calculated at -48ºF using the "old" formula.
Those are the two coldest in NFL history...
I never played beyond High school, but the two coldest games I recall playing in was my sophomore year (28 degrees or so at kickoff) and one of my varsity years, when the temp was in the low 20's or high teens...
