  • This weekend's storms

Between Friday morning and Saturday night we were hit by three consecutive rounds of storms that produced tornadoes. Fortunately we escaped unharmed, just a few tree branches in the yard and a dead tree on our property tipped over into the field behind our house, but the first round of storms barely made it past where I live before producing tornadoes. It still hasn't totally stopped raining, wind is still gusting at 30-40 mph, and flooding is getting to be a huge issue for a lot of people. In all, it's still quite a mess out there.

To anyone else in the South affected by these storms, I hope you're safe.
The fact that jellyfish have survived for 650 million years despite not having brains gives hope to many people.

You would have to be incredibly dense for the world to revolve around you.
