This isn't about sucky customers/coworkers/managers, which is why I put it here. But it does deal with a place of business.
I haven't felt well today, so I went to a Vietnamese restaurant for some chicken pho. As I was waiting for my order (I got it to go), I started hearing these disgusting sounds from the little boy sitting nearby. This kid must be the son of the owners, and he appeared to be about 5 years old. He was sitting on a chair near the cash register while the adults were back in the kitchen.
So as far as I could see, this kid was deliberately sticking his fingers deep into his mouth, causing him to gag. I saw him pull his dripping fingers out of his mouth. I looked away because even if i'd been feeling well, it was grossing me out. And he kept doing it! Gag, choke, cough. Finally, I went outside and stood where I couldn't see him, but I could (unfortunately) still hear him.
After some minutes, I heard a particularly revolting sound, and no, I didn't look to see what he'd done. I did hear his mother say something in a shocked voice, then some scuffling, and when I peeked around the corner, she and the kid were gone. I then went back into the restaurant and waited until my order was ready.
Has anyone else seen an owner's kid doing something gross in a restaurant?
