A few weeks ago, I sent a baseball card to a former player with a request for an autograph. It took about five weeks or so, but he sent it back to me signed! First one ever!
I did buy one from a former player's foundation, and I sent in the card to get autographed. That's on its way back, too.
And because of the success of the first one, I prepared two more this evening and I'm dropping them in the mail on Saturday, though that's Veteran's Day in the US, so there's no mail pickup/delivery, but we'll see what happens with those. One is only going to a town about an hour from where I live, the other is going to Puerto Rico, so we'll see.
