I also like "And She Was" and "Once In A Lifetime."

Despite my rather "exploratory" past, I never clued in to the meaning behind "And She Was" until, literally, last week. Sad. I mean, the lyrics aren't subtle or anything, and I'd actually seen the t-heads live while similarly enthused.

I got their entire discography last night and I've been listening to it all day so far.

My favorite song is "Life During Wartime."
That is a great song. And they were one of my favorite bands in the 80s.

I'd be hard pressed to name my absolute favorite TH song, but if I had to pick, it would probably be And She Was.

Irv, dear, don't take this the wrong way, but...

    I hate you.

Now, not only do I have those songs doing a medley in my head, I actually WANT the beepbeep.com jingle back stuck in my head.
Love me, hate me, either way I'm on your mind.

I prefer "Burning Down The House" myself.

    BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE! ba-dumpa-dumpa-dumpa-dumpa-dumpa

I also like "And She Was" and "Once In A Lifetime."
And She Was is a good song (I actually put that one one of my latest mix CDs).

Hey, I had no clue who they were until someone pointed out "Burning Down the House." I don't do band names usually, just song titles. I really like that song, but never enough to go find it, thus, no idea who sang it.

My mother-in-law loves the Talking Heads. She's going to be 70 in April.

Ah, I remember the Talking Heads. Remember watching their videos on MTV when I was little. I actually admire Mr. Byrne for his eccentricity, it's not something you see often these days.

I wish I could find a video of Rich Hall channelling David Byrne on SNL.
