My sister has the most basic of cell phones. She doesn't want anything fancy or too modern, in her words. just a phone she can make calls on. As a result, she can really only make calls and send and receive text messages. No special lists, ringtones, camera, etc. And the cell phone company can't block numbers or calls. She checked already.
Has she thought of getting a new phone and a different number? And BTW, since she is involving you so much in this, it's about fucking time she give YOU a say in what she does or doesn't do to resolve this. TELL her she is getting a new phone and number and then MAKE her follow through with this. Otherwise, sister or no, she's on her own and you need to take care of YOU!

I've never, EVER understood these women who blame the other woman in the cheating and not their man. It just baffles me.
My best guess is negative stereotyping of men. You know how girls say men only think about sex? It's that in a nutshell. I assume the wife is thinking something along the lines of, 'that stupid whore seduced my man!'. The wife thinks the other woman charmed her husband, and since he 'fell for her trap', he's completely innocent.

It's that stereotype of men that I hate the most.

Yeah, mom said she's still going to pursue the harassment charges, at least. I told her good, because if I ended up doing all that work for nothing, she'd best think twice about calling me for help next time she really needs it. As for changing her number, she's already done it once before already, and doesn't want to again, but I'm pushing the issue. regarding a new cell phone, though, she says she can't afford one, and says if I want to buy her one that's fine. Took all I had in me to tell her I'm poorer than she is.

Given the line of some of the texts that she's been getting, which are actually pretty damn close to what you say, then yes, that's what psycho bitch is probably thinking, that my sister is a ho-ish skank, who preyed on her poor, innocent husband. (Pardon me whilst I go vomit...)

I wish, I really wish, that I could be petty and mean and tell my sister to text this bitch back and tell her "I've broken up with your husband. He's now free to lie and fuck around on you with someone else. Now leave me the fuck alone!!"

But, oh, having to be grown up and follow the constraints of the legal system, especially if we want to case being built to stick. That's particularly trying...

Yes, I may not like my sister on the best days, but she's still my sister and she asked me for help. And what it boils down to, is this whorecorpse is fucking with MY family. I ended up calling in my cousin to go sit with my sister because she was alone, and she had all these plans of going onto the military base and hunting this guy down.
Ok. here is your solution. The jackass is military, fuck the police. Go to his chain of command, Tell them that someone calling herself his wife is harassing your sister. Tell them that he needs to control his wife NOW otherwise it will become a police matter. His command will either inform you that he is NOT married, in which case when the twatwaffle calls back you can tell her gleefully that is commanding officer confirmed he is not married, so shut the fuck up and leave you alone, OR he will fall on the jackass like a ton of bricks. The military does not like the dirty laundry to go public and you can get in trouble for what your family does even if you do not know about it. Have documentation ready [chat logs, emails, tapes from the answering machine, times dates, you know - the usual stuff]

It all hinges on if you can convince your sister to possibly get the jackass in a shitstorm of trouble.

See back in the day I got mrDrone a captains mast because of what his girlfriend of the time was doing to me while he was out to sea in Italy for 6 months. Lost him a liberty weekend and a months pay. [you simply *dont* force a sub to break silence to respond to a need to decide if the person you live with has your car for work purposes or the girlfrined on the side wants your car to drive to florida for vacation when said girlfriend doesnt have the power of attorney but uses the spare key to steal the car causing the Norfolk police department to see if he wants the girlfriend arrested or not ...]

I'll have to pass that info on to my sister, then. I know she tried to get is contact info already, and said she was told who to call, because that was his squad commander or something along those lines. She was irked because she didn't want to speak to his squad commander. She wanted to speak to HIM.

But if she still has that info, and the harassment hasn't stopped....hmmm...possibilities.

In your shoes, Lupo, I don't think I'd pass the info to my sister. I think I'd get the necessary info from my sister somehow, and do the dirty work myself. 'Course, this might cause my sister to never speak to me again, or cause all sorts of other drama, so YMMV.

Whack her upside the head, mililtary are the best guys to date. If you have an issue with them about something like this, or violence towards you, you can have someone stand up for you that actually can negatively impact their life.

let me point you here ...

If you really want to get frisky [or need something to lull you to sleep in the absence of sleeping pills or russian literature] The whole shebang of codes for your punishment options amusement

Technically it would fall under article 134 of the 'general articles' encompasses offenses that are not specifically listed in the Manual for Courts-Martial, That is to say, "all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces, all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, and crimes and offenses not capital, of which persons subject to this chapter may be guilty,". Article 134 is often considered to be a "catch-all" for various offenses that aren't necessarily covered by the other articles in the UCMJ. Article 134 offenses include disloyal statements, abusing public animal, adultery, bigamy, bribery and graft, drinking liquor with prisoner, fleeing scene of accident, fraternization, gambling with subordinate, et al. It’s colloquially referred to as the “Write your own law” or “Don’t be stupid” article, and reflect acts that are not specifically listed, but nevertheless committed, by military personnel that negatively impact the service, unit, etc.

Sounds like it would possibly fall under adultery or if they actually got engaged, the bigamy bit ... or just plain 'don't be an ass' =)

You may also notice that back in the articles it mentions something about working with the local government legal system - it isnt double jeopardy to do slammer time in Leavenworth for something, to get released from the military slammer, and go to trial to determine your civillian punishment. You guilt was already established, and they are just giving the locals a shot at you=)

Also might be fun to point out that if you are actually military, we can decline to bail your sorry ass out of a foreign jail if you really screwed the pooch on something. Tough as it sounds, it can go a long way to keeping the locals happy. Couple of guys on mrDrones second sub almost got nailed by the religious police in Morocco because the forced their way into a mosque 'because they were being tourists and wanted to see everything' The CO of the boat was seriously thinking of leaving them in the slammer for a few months and picking them up on the way back out of the med as apparently this pair were epic fuckups. Pity the COB pointed out it would leave them shorthanded

It seriously might be worth it at this point. Got off the phone with my mom earlier today, before taking a final. I mentioned what AccountingDrone said re: the military, and my sister says she doesn't want to get him in trouble with the military! She still wuvs him even though they've broken up! <Gag>

so, my question is this, then. he's military. His so called wifey poo isn't to my recollection. Does it still fall under article 134, then, if she's the one doing the harassing, and he's the one diddling on the side, which is causing said harassment? He's essentially broken up with my sister, so they're not in a relationship. But his wife was sending vile texts/voice mails to my sister, calling her all sorts of names, and being lewd and crude.

Side note: Since they've broken up, you have NO idea how tempting it is to tell my sister, (or hell, I'LL do it just for kicks) to send a voice mail or text of my own saying "You're cheating skeezebag of a husband has broken up with me(my sister). He is now free to fuck around on you with someone else. Please stop texting me. And next time he cheats, maybe you want harass him instead of me!

One of my college roommates met her husband online (this was back in 1996/97; I don't remember the exact story but it wasn't a dating site or anything like that). They've been married for 9 years and have two little girls (one of whom they adopted from China last year). So there you go.
Well I knew their had to be a success story somewhere out there. And that's the first I ever heard of (Unless you count eHarmony commercials)>

Hun, 134 means that if your CO doesnt like you dating a stripper, he can mast you. It can be used in the sense of "this stupid cow you married is harassing a civillian, this poor civillian wants to go to the cops. Do you know the bad publicity that this can cause involving the Navy? " I got Rob masted on 134 when his girlfriend of the time was dicking me around about his car when he was 3000 miles away underwater. [and he still love me - awwwwww] Rob says that you can be masted under 134 for anything that isnt specifically covered anywhere else.

                        1. This is good to know, really it is. during the next familial war council---er....phone call, I'll bring it up, and forward all the links on. Apparently they tried to go to the police again last night and kept being given the run around and told tough noogies some more. My sister says she doesn't WANT to get skeezebag in trouble with the military because as I mentioned, she still WUVS him, even if things didn't work out. (Yup, still gagging over here...)

                        2. Yes, I know, so so so so so tempting. however with caller id and all the other wonders of technology, it's easily traced, as proven before, when I found out where exactly this whorecorpse is calling from...<Sigh> but 'tis nice to dream...
