There's a low in the Gulf of Mexico and I noticed today that the area is shaded on the NHC's website. It could develop into a depression, but it's extremely unlikely.
I know it's not going to do anything, but it's so freaky looking at the local radar and you can see those outer bands and it looks like a tropical storm or hurricane coming straight towards me. The current weather kind of reminds me of what happens right before a hurricane hits. It's been very windy.
I have this bad feeling that we are in for a looooong hurricane season.
