tired of flaky people here
and by "here" I mean my city. not here as in CS.com boards. sorry about that not insulting anyone here.
really really really have to vent because this gets on my nerves and today of all days i'd had it
woke up at 6am, daughter is teething bad to the point she is throwing up half her bottle this morning. no problem lots of loves and two teething tablets and all is well, full and happy baby.
then went to turn on the laptop so i could burn the copy of a dvd I'd promised a friend a week ago. only the laptop decides to say eff you Lexia! After much vexation, whaling and gnashing of teeth in the tech help forum its not just a software problem its that I have a bad copy of windows xp. crap
go on facebook to tell friend that laptop finally died. only to see that she once again cancels plans to come by last minute again.
These are hubbys friends well "friends" and now I see why he doesn't speak with them much anymore. Only a few came by when I was in the hospital after having Lisa. and have not heard from them since then until now. It boils down to this, they are either flaky, don't think of us as important enough or just don't think ahead.
Either way its flaking out and a form of passive agressiveness. And all I have to say is this, If i've done something wrong, or that bothers you how can I know if you do not tell me? Ignoring or not talking to us about it doesn't fix it either. SO knowing what I was about to do was way over the line I posted on facebook basically blowing up. (prepared for the consequences) Its one thing to honestly be busy its another to think you can stand us up or just continue disappointing.
I have stated that what I promised to do will still get done but after this I want nothing to do with these people. Its not being nice if you don't tell your own friend that they are bothering you or that hell they stink! I'll still be your friend if you tell me this but its not being a friend when you cannot even be honest.
