2010 Christmas Card Exchange-Tally up!!!

So more are on the way for all....this is working out nicely. It's really being spread out so there's something almost every day.

LOL!! Thank you, Walmart!!

So I was freaking out about screwing up an envelope. Pretty much held my breath during the entire printing period. After the job was done, I saw I had 4 envelopes left over. So I took the stack, and checked off each name on the list.. Apparently, Walmart knew how much of a goof I am, and gave me extra envelopes!!! YAY.

Envelopes are designed and printed.
Back labels are designed and soon to be printed.
Roughly half the US cards have stamps on them.

To do:
Affix the back labels.
Get a blue fine tip Sharpie.
Write on the cards.
Put in envelopes.
Finish with the stamps.
Mail.
????
Profit!

I'm going to hazard a guess and say the chewed up one is from Ree..??

Don't think so, because not only did I have a return address on mine, I signed it with my name on the right side and added a personal note on the top left side of the card as well with my CS name. There's still enough of the card that she would be able to read that if it was my card, and she says she has no clue because the signature is missing.
Besides, I don't remember what kind of card I sent her because it was a random assortment. That one doesn't look familiar.

I must say, though, if the envelope was that badly chewed up, it's a miracle it got to you.

*EDIT - I just had an idea, Wenchie.

Why not send one of the mods a picture of the inside of the card and the envelope?
If there is enough of the signature showing, we can probably go to the card list and figure it out.
Also, on the envelope, over the stamp, it's usually postmarked with the name of the town where it originated.

It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out if we all put our heads together.

Yesterday I got a card from PsychoTeddyAppear.

Today I got an unknown card that the Canadian Post office nommed on... not all the pieces are here so I can't tell you sent it since the signature is missing and so was half of the envelope. But I'm assuming it's from one of our Canadian participants since the "Sorry I ate your mail" apology was from Canada Post Corporation.

So, to the person who sent this card... Thank You.


If anyone knows who sent the card (or if the sender is active on here) please let me know so I can mark you on my tally. Otherwise I'll have to wait until the end and figure it out by process of elimination!

Also got PsychoTeddy's yesterday. I need to rearrange some things on my shelves to make room...hmm...this oughtta be interesting...

Funny story--I had to run back into the post office and get a stamp from the automated machine because I tossed yours in the pile with the American cards.

That would've been embarrassing to get yours back.

Alright I mailed out my Canadian cards tonight. And the rest will go out on the 10th.

Today I got cards from Ree and telecom_goddess. They will be added to Wall-o-Cards Section A. I will have to figure out where Section B will be soon.

I received cards from Ree and idrinkarum today. That's 14 cards I have received so far.

I have all of my cards ready to go. I hope to drop them at the post office within the hour.
