*looks at pics, sees the tail and squeels* He is so cute. And I think Storm is a nice name, and looks like it might fit. I want to tickle that belly now!

Storm is a perfect name for him! He's super adorable!
Give him kitty cuddles for me please!

Wear him out playing then ambush him while he's flopped afterwards. Perfect pictures every time!

So, I'd like to introduce you all to someone. My wife finally found his name today:

Say hello to Storm, who after only a week is already refusing to pose nice for the camera

Yeah, Arwen has had the habit most kittens have of taking a flying leap off the chair or desk or whatever to cling to your clothes. Only, she did it on MORE than one occasion while I was in the process of changing clothes. Kitty claws dug into nekkid butt is how she earned her nickname. Screamed it so loud she cowered under the bed and hubby ran in from across the house to check on me.

I saw an amendment to a poster that had been put up on our street regarding a found kitty.
Added to the bottom of the poster was this hand written note.
"Now with the owner
- all three of us are happy together".
Sweet!

Pablo had a million nicknames. He didn't actually answer to anything, really...
pablito, pabloshe, pie, pius pupaya, pabby, peanut, palito, .........

The family dog's nickname is also Shithead (real name Bruno). Although, honestly, he'll answer to anything shouted in his general direction.

Stripes should be "Get down from there goddammit!" He likes to get up on the entertainment center. There used to be knicknacks and stuff up there. Now there is one clock that he surprisingly doesn't mess with, and the stereo speakers which I occasionally catch him trying to chew on.
Stars could be "Please come out from under the bed..!"

Let's see, I've had Velcro who earned her name with a stunt she did (repeatedly) as a kitten and young cat. Velcro never hesitated to let me know who was REALLY in charge. There was also Alexandra the Grey, commonly called Miss Alex or Rascallion. She looked like a little devil but was the sweetest cat ever. She's the one in my avatar with the big super shiny eyes. Also had my Kris-Cat whose formal name was Kriss-Rrit. He believed firmly that the entire world existed to be his friend and that he never got beyond being a tiny fuzzy little kitten. Of course, I never tried to disabuse him of either notion. Right now I have Miss Munchkin who missed being tagged with Shadow by ** that much for her habit of following me around everywhere around the house. Not sure where the Munchkin name came from, but it is very firmly hers, and fits her pretty well.

my parents have a dog who's real name is Odessa. Dad couldn't remember this the first night they had her since mom 'surprised' him with her. She hopped up on the table, dad couldn't remember what to call her. What came out was "SHITHEAD! Get down!" She jumped down.
That dog has forever more been shithead. Because she responded.
