So, all in all, he's looking like he's in good shape. Now, I didn't get the chance to get the alarm clock (I really didn't want to leave him in the car while I went in the store for an alarm clock), so he's sleeping across the house again. But he's in good shape. Maybe I actually can help him. Maybe.

"Hey You!" has actually both piddled and pooped in his litter box. He's eating solid food (granted, I have to show him where it is), he's drinking on his own (same deal), and he's excreting properly.

So, all in all, he's looking like he's in good shape. With someone of your prestige, I'm sure there's forms to fill out, applications to be processed, etc. For all I know, my calling you a bitch might have been denied, and I can reapply next year to try again.

This way, posting it in the thread? Yeah, I get to make sure I follow proper protocol next time. Hell, there's probably a book in your library which discusses the full procedure, but it's always mysteriously checked out by a blonde with great calves.

This might be the pessimist in me, but 4-5 week old kittens don't make great escapes. I'm still going with "abandoned"

I have to agree. It very much looks abandoned, or like it's mother just lost track of it in the storm. I'm not sure which.

He hasn't let loose with a stool sample yet, and it's been almost 24 hours, so I'm getting kinda nervous there. The vet said she could feel his need to go, but didn't feel any blockage, so he should be able to go, on his own, soon.

Get a cool wet cloth and gently wipe his butt until he poops. Hes used to having his mom lick his butt to get him to poop so he might not know how to go on his own yet.
