    And finally it's all over.

As a friend of mine posted on FB yesterday:

"Drew Stanton has been traded to the Colts, thus completing the great Circle of Suck."

Tebow better not come near the Packers. They have enough faith without needing his overly-dramatic "I love Jesus" nonsense.

He can go to the Vikings. They've needed hope for a long time, and their fans hop on bandwagons so easily, he'd fit right in.

Now apparently the Tebow deal has hit a snag.

There's a couple Tebow-to-Green Bay rumors out there. I pray they aren't true. Why pay him the kind of money he's making just to run the Wishbone every so often?

Just what the Jets need: another quarterback who can't throw the football.
    They got Carson Palmer too?

Comparing a RB to a QB? Interesting. Call me crazy but I think Aaron Rodgers had much better performances and is more popular than Arian Foster.

    But they've got no backup.
A valid point. However, it's not like the Broncos had a backup after they waived Orton last year. Brady Quinn? Please.........

Latest scuttlebutt on Tebow is that the Jets are showing major interest. I'll fall over laughing if that happens, given how rabid the fan base and media is there. Sanchez throws a pick on the first series of the year in September? Fireman Ed will be starting a "T-E-B-O-W TEBOW TEBOW TEBOW" chant.

Sanchez does not have the cajones, testicular fortitude, however you want to phrase it to have a backup that was more successful than him last year, and could run rings around him in popularity. Pwecious-wecious' feewings might get hurt!

I'm going to LOL pretty hard at Denver if Manning goes down, especially early in the season. Not that the Broncos put a QB on the field most of the season or the playoffs so they clearly don't need one. But they've got no backup.

    Well, puke. Just puke.

Thank you, Oakland front office, for all the wonderful free agent acquisitions this off season. Oh, wait...that's right....y'all haven't done dick.

More puke. Just hope we can be one of the few teams to knock Peyton on his ass. Nothing against him, mind you...I rather like Peyton. But once he dones the nauseating orange and blue, he is The Enemy, and thus must eat dirt.

News in Indianapolis is reporting right now that he is going to sign with Denver. We will sure miss him.

Thank you for keeping him the hell out of the NFC West! (lifelong Seahawks fan)

I am hopeful with the signing Matt Flynn. And getting rid of Charlie Whiterust (known up here as the "Clipboard Jesus")

Maybe the Seahawks won't entirely suck this year. Maybe just the Mariners (grumble grumble)

Multiple reports from people who know of what they speak say Manning IS in fact coming to Denver.

Supposedly he has already personally called both the Titans and 49ers to say "thanks but no".

Broncos will try to trade Tebow immediately after getting Manning signed, according to these reports. I do think the likely destination is going to be Jacksonville, as he is revered in that state much as Mr. Elway is revered here (man could be Govenor and Illustrious Potentate of a new religion like THAT), and the new Jax owner loves Tebow and more importantly loves it when people attending the games don't come disguised as empty seats.

While Tennessee fans would love to have Payton at the Titans, the UT fans would much rather have him at UT. He could do no wrong in most fans eyes. After the pretty boy up and quit it was discussed at length on several talk radio stations about getting Payton here as coach.
Note. I'm neither a UT nor Titan fan. I back the Patriots and my alma mater disbanded their football team several years ago.

Don't know if he would accept the demotion with a good attitude though.
I don't know why he wouldn't. Everything we've seen from Tebow has been humble and good-natured, and all evidence seems to indicate that he would at least publicly display the "I'll do what they tell me and whatever's necessary for the good of the team" attitude.

I mean, of all players, he is the last one I could see displaying any kind of sour grapes or diva attitude.
