My husband received a call via Facebook Messenger last year from the former female friend mentioned in the above thread, and she admitted to him that she wanted to date him while the 2 of us were a couple.
My instincts told me the entire time they were friends that she wanted to much more than friends even though she continued telling me and him that she only wanted to be his friend.
The truth finally came out.
