Hello! (^_^) I am 24 and have worked in a few jobs that required interaction with "fellow human beings" (in quotes since I can't really vouch for some of them, lol). I have worked as youth staff on cruise ships (which meant I was up for odd jobs throughout the ship), as a cashier at a World Market (a fabulous variety import chain), as a substitute and regular teacher in inner-city schools, at a help desk at a university library, and am currently a receptionist for a psyciatric office.
I love working with people because they are a fabulous source of entertainment. Even though there are customers that suck and really frustrate/tick-me-off, most of them range from neutral to hilarious. To give a cliche teacher line, "I like to help people."
I will try to tell my favorite work stories for you since most of them are a riot!
