Boyfriend and I were both feeling crappy and tired after work so we decided a McDonald's dinner was in order.
Went to our usual and ordered the usual - a medium Quarter Pounder meal for me, a large double Quarter Pounder with no pickles or onions for him.
Paid and got our stuff without incident - except the part where the boyfriend's phone went off as we were getting the food, which meant he couldn't hold the drinks whilst I checked our order.
So naturally when we got home, we had a Quarter Pounder and a Cheeseburger in the bag. The best part? The cheeseburger had no pickles or onions and had a grill slip taped to it that read "dbl qtr - pickles no onion."
Yep, they gave us the right order, on the wrong burger even though there was a piece of paper RIGHT FUCKING THERE, with the order on it.
I called to kind of say "Wtf guys, that's a helluva mix-up" and when the guy figured out I wasn't called for a replacement or compensation, I didn't even get an apology for the mix-up.
