This guy is gonna be a pain, I can tell...
So, Luser calls up, says he's locked out of his account. Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezie. I unlock his account, and he says he's good to go, hangs up.
He calls back a minute or so later, because he can't remember his password.
J2K: "I thought you said you were able to get in."
L: "Well, actually, it just gave me a different message instead of saying I was locked out. Now it's saying my password is incorrect."
J2K: "I wish you'd said so the first time, so we could've gotten this taken care of the first time around, instead of wasting two calls on one issue."
Alas, Luser is in [Dept Z], which means I can't reset his passwords. So I put in a trouble ticket for him, which may or may not get addressed tonight. (Dept Z's account problems folks aren't in, but there's always the possibility his ticket will get to an account admin who DOES have access to help him.) He asks me to unlock his account again so he can keep trying his passwords. I do so and he hangs up.
Just a couple of minutes ago, he called up again, and asked for another unlock. I gave it to him, and he hung up.
I hope like hell he either gets in finally, or an account admin calls him with the password reset, so I don't keep getting calls from him. *sigh*
