Today I went to my local favorite Right Store, Right Price grocery store to pick up items needed for Easter Dinner. Part of my order included me stopping at the deli to get a pound of cheese. I didn't needed sliced/diced/cut, I just needed a hunk of cheese.
The girl behind the counter weighed out a pre-measured hunk of cheese and said "This is 3/4 of a pound, will that work?"
She was nice about it, but not quite all with it.
In the end, I did tell her the 3/4 of a pound was fine as I have about 1/4 of a pound at home.
