This happened yesterday.
The phone inside the booth rings. There is a car at the exit gate.
me: "How may I help you?"
I hear static at the call box.
The guy who pressed the call box runs up to the Visitor parking booth.
me: "hi"
guy: "I have a coin to exit the garage but it is not working."
He hands me a nickle *5 cents*. You need a token *$5.00* to exit.
I look at it.
me: "No, you don't"
guy: "I don't?"
me: "It's a nickle"
guy:
"So I pay on the 3rd floor at the parking office?"
me: "Yes"
He does that, & he gives me the token. I guess he did not know what to do with it *you put it in the slot near the exit gate*. I use the clicker to let him out.
