I can't give you directions if you don't know where you're going

Last week, a guy in a security guard uniform comes into my C-store and asks if I can direct him to Local Hospital. My mom happens to be a nurse at Local Hospital, so of course I know where it is! Thing is, LH has two campuses, which are a mile or two apart.

Me: Do you need "east" or "west" campus?
SG: Huh? I'm looking for Local Hospital.
Me: Yeah, LH has two campuses, one on "east" street and one on "west" street. Which one are you looking for?
SG: Um, I'm not sure, let me go out to my car and check the paperwork. *leaves, comes back a minute later* "West" Campus.
Me: *gives directions*

I thought it was common knowledge that LH has two campuses, but maybe that's only true for people who have family who work there.
