not really, but you get the idea. my cw is a bad singer, and an even worse whistler. as i was organizing the shoes, i hear whistling. so i naturally say "that's terrible whistling." only to realize that it was not cw who was whistling. instead it was this 11 yr old girl. i felt terrible, and when she came to ring out, i apologized. she said "it's ok, i didn't really even hear it." to which i said "still, it's better than cw's singing." i know it doesn't redeem me, but i tried to make amends. open mouth, insert foot. serious fuckup on my part, yet amusing in the end.
