last night I wasn't in the best of moods (partially because we were so busy), so I may have ranted a little to some of my customers. One of them asked me if I'd had any complaints yet. She complained.
I haven't been warned yet, so I don't know if anything will happen, although my 2IC pleaded my case-she'd been there for the best part of about 9-10 hours, my manager the grand 15 hours. I had the feeling that she would've mentioned that we can't always be smiling happy people for the entire night. If I do get warned, I will take the write up, I was way out of line that night.
The customer herself wasn't overly sucky bar her partner who ignored my request NOT to stick Coke on the conveyor belt.
And to top it off....I didn't check a lady's freezer bag. Turns out she'd stolen beer.
