Had a mini BB tonight. I was in the break room, heavily involved in Facebooking. (Had to share that I just learned we have a dedicated meat pie shop in town, which just so happens to be directly across the alley from Hubby's fav barbershop...) Anyways, I noticed our housekeeper and head housekeeper gathering their things.
Me: "Oh, so you're done?"
Head housekeeper: "I told you so twenty minutes ago! We've been waiting here for our ride ever since!"
Me: "I'm...I confess I'm just not paying attention to what's going on around me."
Head housekeeper:
