  • The Anticlimax of A+B the CoD...

Well, my boss is taking over the Children's Wear cashiers... it used to be its' own department with the floor girls, but now they will be Children's Wear and the cashiers will be CSD (customer service department). I've been in CW a lot lately... I think that will be my new permanent till.

But for some reason since moving there I've been really antsy, forgetful and panicky. maybe its because I'm dealing with baby furniture, or perhaps its because its more crowded behind the till.

Today I also messed up BADLY. It was my fault, Ia dmit it - I forgot a ladys' price-adjustments on some exchanges. She stood there to one side, half of the counter taken as she went over her bill THREE TIMES, and then added it up. By then I had already admitted I had done something wrong and would fix it for her as soon as I was done with the current CS (who had a dock order, but since the departments were just moved and stuff, the new Lead of CW didnt know how to either. *sigh) So not only did she have to wait, she had that mess of a bill.

THEN she wouldn't let me do a price adjustment. Well, she would, but she wouldnt' sign the bill. so I had to void it out after (I moved her onto another till to get her finished), and then redo the ENTIRE FREAKING THING.

At one point, this was exchanged:

SC: Why didnt you give me the sale prices?
Me*Stammering* : I uh, didnt realize you purchased the same things... I messed up.
    SC: *glares/stares at me*

I fixed it of course, and she took another ten to look over it. Afterwards I was shakey and just wanted to cry. I didnt TRY to, but after that, then the fact I had no clue how to help the gentlman with his dock order and the line up nearly to the door, I was already very anxious and panicky (There's no line up to make others 'wait' behind, like at the other tills). I messed up, I admitted to it, and I will admit I got a little cross with her because of her own attitude. I mean, I fixedit, AND I apologised for the inconvenience.

And then after all that work, we messed the dock order up and had to redo it. -.- We didnt know how to do THAT either, sigh.

I hope this wont' look bad on my report, if she complains.
