As of last week I no longer work in the butcher block/seafood department of my area grocery store. I put in for and got a scan clerk position. So far, I'm really enjoying it too. I like being able to go in and do my job without having to worry about whether I have any customers or not. I also like being able to move around and not be stuck in one spot for most of my shift. (Part of the reason I don't want to cashier. Being chained to a register all shift would drive me insane.) Of course the best part of the new position is the lack of fishy smelling uniform
