since my manager is basically giving me an ultimatum. take cosmetics or take a demotion ive come up with an idea.
he actually wanted to start putting me on Saturday mornings--problem, i have a sat class. and why morning? i asked my bro why he wont just give me a shift supervisor to work with sat night. "thats not how he works"
so heres my plan, and tell me if im going overboard
I don't expect the required 16 -20 hours that has been suggested.
on Mondays when i go in at 230 i scan my out of stocks. and its fairly quick, so that's already taken care of.
all i ask for is for an hour either on Saturday or Sunday nights to push my overstock (work it out)
and that once a week i either have an extra person (just for 4 hrs) or another shift on with me (4 hrs-to answer calls)
if i can do this each week, cosmetics can stay neat and clean, and updated. and it wont take 2 shifts to get stuff done when im over there once a month. (ok so i only said the first half)
so in all im just asking for 5 hours of help a week
he probably wont do it because hes an asshole. hes willing to demote me to stay in cosmetics. or i can give that up and stay a shift. just keep me a shift and give cosmetics back to the person who ruined it to begin with. see how happy you are then :P
