Yesterday, a customer called mentioning that some of her groceries were left behind and she couldn't find her receipt and it wasn't written down in the Left Behind Book. When she arrived at the store, I got my service desk coworker to approve the customer getting her items. She couldn't authorize without the receipt so I called the night crew manager. I decided to look up the receipt in the computer and when I saw the items mentioned, I printed out the sheet.
I double checked the list with the customer and it turned out those were the items she purchased. She got most of the items that she forgot and decided not to get a certain item since she wasn't charged for it. It turned out that she had gotten a couple kosher items and they were locked up. Luckily, she was fine with coming back for them another time and was even thankful for the help.
