When I moved to overnights, I was promised that I'd get a better schedule in February. February is here, and sure enough, I got a schedule I like very much... daylight, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
The bad news is that I'm really starting to dislike to my job. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there's more callers and they're more unpleasant than ever.
I think I'm burning out.. I've been in training this week to support another one of our services. Usually, I like learning new stuff, but I've been uninspired and uninterested all week. It hasn't helped my mood that there's a huge training manual to learn, but no increase in pay for learning it.
I'd still like to stay working for the same company, but I don't foresee myself lasting long in my current job... and I don't see any hope for anything different in the near future.
Blah.
