I got a thank you letter!
This is the first time anything like this has happened to me, and I'm feeling very warm and fuzzy over it. Went into work, and there was a note on the notice board.
Dear Manager
I would just like to say a huge thank you to customersruinmylife for looking after us on Monday night. My husband has been very ill recently and I am very grateful that he went into the toilets to check if he was OK. It is very rare you see such consideration these days. Hold onto this employee, and give him all our thanks.

Wow. Very chuffed. It's also very rare that we get thank you's like that as well. I remember these people as well.
Basically, the husband went to the toilet, and the lady came up to me concerned.
Wife: My husband went into the toilets quite a while ago, he's very ill, I'm worried.
Me: OK, I'll just go in and check.
As I went in, the husband walked out. They thanked me very much and bought me a drink!
I did what anyone would have done, and they were so grateful. They acted as if I had saved his life.
After all the SC's I've been getting recently, it really is nice to get a break.
