OK, I work at a car dealership-one that has a LOT of business coming and going through it. My manager in Parts wins a trip to Hawaii if he is in the top 8 in sales numbers-and right now he is in 4th. So, yeah-lots of dollars.
My job is to find parts for the mechanics working. Soon there will be some shuffling around of mechanics to a different building-shifts will be shifted, people will be moved, etc. Since I can only work on weekends (due to school) this left me ondering where I would ift into this, and where. I didn't want to quit, because this job kicks ass, and I didn't want to get fired/"let go".
BUT!!!
My boss wants me to train on the front counter-to sell parts to the regular Joe (or Joan). AND, since I can only work weekends, he's going to open up parts on Sundays, which gives him more sales dollars, and gives me job security!
